Hot Handover

The Hot Handover functionality allows an Organizer from your team to book meetings with customers or prospects on behalf of their colleagues.

Calendar information directly from Google or Microsoft calendars ensures that you have an up to date view of your Hosts' availability and can book at a time without any clashes.

Hot handover provides three assignment algorithms: Round Robin, Related Owner, or Manual Selection. Allowing you to choose the most appropriate host based on your team's needs.

Any meetings booked will have calendar events created and automatically sent to the customer or prospect. Invites can optionally include a link to a web meeting on: Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.

Booking Engine component

The Booking Engine component is a Lightning component designed to be used in record pages. This component displays any bookings created for the record, which will be visible to all users. Users with a Booking Engine permission set are also able to edit or cancel bookings, as well as mark a no-show for a booking.

Users with the Booking Engine Organizer permission set will also be able to perform Hot Handovers from the Booking Engine component.

User Settings

Users are able to connect their calendars and meeting platforms to enable Booking Engine to read their availability and book meetings on their behalf. The Apple release contains the following integrations:

  • Google Calendar/Google Meet
  • Microsoft Calendar/ MS Teams
  • Zoom

In addition to these integrations, users are able to set their personal settings, such as buffer times between bookings and how much notice they need for a booking.
