The Booking Engine component allows you to view all bookings, both past and upcoming, that have been made that relate to the current record. It also allows you edit or cancel upcoming bookings and to mark past bookings as a no-show if the customer or prospect did not attend. Latest booking

When viewed in a record page; the Booking Engine component will display the most recently created booking for the current record (If any).To view all other bookings for a record, click the 'View all bookings link'.

Viewing bookings for a record

The View Bookings screen shows all of the bookings that have been created relating to a record.

The tabs on the screen allow you to narrow your view by time period to:

  • Today's bookings
  • Upcoming bookings
  • Past bookings
  • Cancelled bookings
Edit Booking
Any user with a Booking Engine permission set can cancel or edit a booking.
If a Salesforce event record was created as part of a booking, then users will need to own or have edit rights on the event record to cancel or reschedule the booking.

You may want to change the date or time of a booking, to alter the attendees or to change the meeting platform. To do this, click the pencil icon . This will take you to the booking screen to allow you to update your booking. Editing a booking will update the host's calendar and send update notifications to all attendees.

Edit booking cannot change host or booking type. In order to change these, please cancel the existing booking and create a new one.
Cancel Booking

To cancel a booking, click the trash can icon . This will cancel the booking, the host and all attendess will be notified by email.
