Lead Conversion

Auto-Conversion can be configured to convert incoming Leads that may have been matched using Lead Matching to an existing Account or Contact.

Conversion is performed using the Salesforce Convert functionality, which will create new Accounts or Contacts if they weren't matched in Lead Matching, or populate any fields on the existing Account/Contact that are empty, if there are values in the mapped field on the incoming Lead. It can also optionally create new Opportunities. The original Lead is then set to a converted status.
