User Settings

Charlie Jenkins Updated by Charlie Jenkins

As a Host for Booking Engine, you can set preferences around how you want bookings with you to occur. These settings affect all booking types.

To access User Settings, click the 'Booking User Settings' tab.

Minimum Notice

Minimum notice allows you to set how much notice you will need for a booking to occur. I.e. How long from the moment of booking before your first availability is shown. This allows you to ensure that you have enough time to prepare for your booking.

Minimum notice can be set in minutes, hours or days, with a minimum value of 0 minutes (No notice required) to 365 days.

Buffer time

The buffer time settings allow you to ensure that you have enough time between calendar events. This can be set as both a buffer time before and after bookings, ensuring that you have a set amount of free time around a booking.

Buffer time considers all calendar events marked as 'busy' availability, not just events created by Booking Engine.

Default Meeting Platform

The default meeting platform allows you to select your preferred platform when Organisers are booking on your behalf. This can be selected from any of the meeting platforms that you have connected.

Organisers can always select from any of the meeting platforms that you have connected when booking with you.
