Assignments going to wrong user

If assignments are being made to a different user to the one you expected check the following:

  • Did Distribubtion Engine make the assignment - sometimes records didn't get assigned at all or they didn't get assigned by Distribution Engine.  Add some fields to your page layout to be sure this is a Distribuion Engine issue - see Page layouts topic to learn more.
  • Order of execution - Distribution Engine operates on a first come first served basis. The Teams and Distributors within the teams run top to bottom. You may need to adjust the order or add more filtering to ensure the rule you expected takes priority.
