Charlie Jenkins Updated by Charlie Jenkins

This page shows you the steps to get Booking Engine up and running as quickly as possible.

Install

  1. Download the Booking Engine Package
A user with the appropriate permissions must install the Booking Engine package on to your org.

In order to connect to calendars and meeting platforms, Booking Engine needs access to a number of remote sites. Access to these must be enabled from your Salesforce org.
  3. Add Managed Package Licenses
Each user of Booking Engine must have a Managed Package License assigned in order to use the application. See Salesforce Documentation for more information.
  4. Add the Booking Engine component
The Booking Engine component will need to be installed on to the appropriate record pages, so your users can access the booking functionality.

Configuration

  1. Configure Permission Sets.
  2. Create your first Booking Type.
  3. Get your hosts to connect their calendars & meeting platforms.
