Distribution Engine allows for the configuration of Custom Team Manager permissions. These sets of custom permissions are grouped into 'Personas'. Each Persona represents a group of custom team managers with different permissions. Each persona allow you to define the access to areas of Distribution Engine for team managers assigned that persona, allowing you to match their access to your business's requirements. For example, a 'Senior Team Manager' persona could be able to fully edit Distributors, but a 'Team Supervisor' persona may not even have view permissions for Distributors.

Configuration

Each team member using Custom Team Manager permissions will require the "Distribution Engine Custom Team Manager" permission set.

You can define the permissions that are available to users of a persona from the Persona page on the Distribution Settings tab. Clicking on the persona you wish to configure will take you to the permissions page.

To select which permissions Custom Team Manager users with that persona will have, select the radio buttons and checkboxes applying to the appropriate permissions within the category. The table below has a detailed overview of the permissions.

The table below provides a detailed overview of what each permission setting does. If a page or feature is not listed below, then the Custom Team Manager cannot gain access.

No Access

  • No access to the Test Tool from any page.

Access

  • Access to the full Test Tool functionality from any page they can view.

Distribution Teams

 

Team List

No Access

  • No access to the Team List or any of the pages under the Distribution Teams tab.

Access

  • Access to the Team List page. Users will be able to view any teams that they have team manager access to.
  • Users cannot access the Assignment Process Viewer.

Team Summary

No Access

  • No access to the Team Summary page.

Access

  • Access to the Team Summary page.
  • The links available from this page will be dependent on whether the user has the rights to view the linked page.

Team Members

No Access

  • No access to the Team Member page.

View

  • Access to the Team Member page,
  • Not able to create or delete team members.
  • Can view team member history.

Edit, Create and Delete

As View, with the following changes:

  • Able to create and delete team members.
  • Add & Configure Team Member is only available if users have edit access to distribution hours, tag assignment and weighting.
  • Out of Office is only available if the users have access to create out of office entries.

Team Members Toggle

View

  • Can view the team member toggles, but not toggle team members on or off.

Edit

  • As View, but can toggle team members on and off.

Team Availability

No Access

  • No access to the Team Availability page.

View

  • Access to the Team Availability page.
  • Links to the shift page are only shown if the user has at least View Only access to the shift page.

Team Performance

No Access

  • No access to the Team Performance page.

View

  • Access to the Team Performance page.
  • Access to assign tags is determined by the Tag Assignment permission

Distributors

No Access

  • No access to Distributors List
  • No visibility to distributors across the app.

View

  • Access to Distributor List
  • Access to distributors within the Distributor List.
  • Access to distributors across the app (with the appropriate page permissions):
    • Users are able to access distributor-level settings on Caps.
    • Users are able to access distributor-level settings on Tracking and SLAs.
    • Users are able to access distributor-level settings on Assignment Rejection.
    • Users are able to access distributor settings on Post Assignment.
  • Users are able to view distributor settings but are unable to modify any values.
  • Users are able to view distributor change history.

As Edit, with the following changes:

  • Allows creation and deletion of distributors.
  • Users are able to re-order distributors.
  • Users are able to clone distributors.

Edit Distributors

(Only available if Edit is selected for Distributors)

Each of these options can be selected independently.

Edit Distributor Name

  • Allows editing of distributor names.

Edit Method

  •  Allows users to modify any fields under the method heading in Distributor Settings

Edit Source

  •  Users are able to modify the distributor source.
  • Users are able to modify source order.

Edit Distributor Filters

  • Users are able to modify field based filters.
  • Users are able to modify campaign filters.

Edit Team Member Filters

  • Users are able to modify all fields under the team member filters heading in Distributor Settings.

Edit Activate/Deactivate

  • Users are able to activate and deactivate distributors.

Weighting

No Access

  • No access to the weighting tab on Weighting and Caps page.
  • No access to distributor weighting on distributor-level settings.

View

  • Access to weighting tab on Weighting and Caps page.
  • No ability to edit weighting.
  • No ability to change weighting mode.
  • Users can view distributor weighting on distributor-level settings if they also have view rights on distributors.

Edit

As View, with the following changes:

  • Users are able to edit weighting.
  • Users are able to change weighting mode.
  • Users can edit distributor weighting on distributor-level settings if they also have view rights on Distributors.

Caps

No Access

  • No access to the team-level caps tab on Weighting and Caps page.
  • No access to caps on distributor-level settings.

View

  • Access to the team-level caps tab on Weighting and Caps page.
  • Access to distributor caps on distributor-level settings if they also have view rights on distributors.
  • No ability to edit team-level caps.
  • No ability to edit distributor caps.

Edit

As View, with the following changes:

  • Users are able to edit team level caps.
  • Users are able to edit distributor caps on distributor-level settings if they also have view rights on Distributors.

Holiday Region

No Access

  • No access to the holiday region tab on Distribution Hours.

  • Users are unable to edit the holiday region of a team.

Distribution Hours

  • Users cannot clone tags.

Distribution Availability

 

Out of Office

Create Own

  • Users are able to view the Out of Office page on Distribution Availability tab.
  • Users are only able to see their own out of office entries.
  • Users are able to create out of office entries for themselves.

View Team

As Create Own, with the following changes:

  • Can view out of office entries for team members in teams the user manages.
  • Users are able to view the out of office history.

Create and Delete

As View Team, with the following changes:

  • Can create out of office entries for team members in teams the user manages.
  • Can delete out of office entries for team members in teams the user manages.

Regional Holiday

No Access

  • No access to the Regional Holidays page.

View

  • Users are able to view the Regional Holidays page on Distribution Availability tab.
  • Users are able to view both regions and regional holidays sub-tabs.
  • Users are able to view the regional holiday history.
  • Users are able to view the regions history.
  • Users are not able to create or delete regional holidays.
