Remote Site Settings

Charlie Jenkins Updated by Charlie Jenkins

To ensure that Booking Engine can communicate with the appropriate third party tools to ensure calendar and meeting platform operation, you will need to configure Remote Site settings in Salesforce.

Without the appropriate remote site settings in place, Booking Engine will be unable to function correctly.

Remote Site configuration

Remote sites can be configured from the Salesforce Setup pages. Type 'Remote Site' into the quick filter and click 'Remote Site Settings' under the security section.

You can add new sites by clicking the 'New Remote Site'. Populate a name, the appropriate Remote Site URL from the table below and a useful description to help you identify it in future. Ensure that the 'Active' checkbox is selected and click Save.

Remote Site URLs

Below is a list of all remote site URLs used by Booking Engine. The Booking Engine remote site URL must be enabled for all Booking Engine installs. Any other remote site URLs are only required to use the appropriate integrations.
