Manual Shutdown of Distribution Engine

You can stop and start the Distribution Engine from the Distribution Settings page. Its normal that while Distribution Engine is running you cannot shut down until its finish. However, if for any reason you encounter prolonged difficulties in shutting down you can manually delete the Distribution Engine scheduled job

Manual shutdown details

• In setup area go to Scheduled jobs
• Edit the view and filter for jobs containing Distribution Engine

• Delete the job
