The Quokka release of Distribution Engine includes a number of enhancements to the product, including functionality to automate team member toggles at the start of the day, improvements to the Distribution Viewer (Formerly known as the Assignment Process Viewer) and various quality of life features.
Main Features
Area | Name | Description |
Toggle at Start of Day | This feature allows teams using the availability toggle to ensure that all team member's toggles are set to either On or Off at the start of the day. Ensuring that team members will start each working day ready to receive assignments or have to toggle on to receive assignments. This can be used in conjunction with the Toggle at End of Day feature to provide precise control over agents availability at the start and end of shifts. | |
Improved Interface | The Distribution Viewer (formerly Assignment Process Viewer) shows a visual overview of the Distribution Engine configuration in your org. It displays the sources for all records, and shows how records flow from those sources through teams and distributors. This is a great place to explore your configuration from, allowing you to see how your sources, teams and distributors function relative to each other. This feature has been enhanced in the Quokka release to improve discoverability, reduce noise and provide more detail. The Distribution Viewer navigation is now more prominently displayed navigation on the left hand sidepanel, features a streamlined interface and a new Source Overview panel, explaining the behaviours of each selected source. | |
Team Filter | You are now able to filter by team membership or lack of team membership on the licensed user list, this will help for quick identification of users with licenses who are not members of any team. | |
Remove Tags | De-provisioning users is now easier, when removing users from all teams on the licensed users page, you can now choose to remove tags at the same time. | |
Team Filter Updates | The default value for the team filter is now to only show users are a member of at least one Distribution Team. This is to ensure that the page content remains focused. | |
Keep settings between tests | The assignment simulator will now no longer reset the settings between consecutive tests, allowing you to run the same test across multiple different records. | |
Column sorting | The columns on the distribution hours page are now able to be sorted, enabling easier interaction with the page. |
Defects Resolved
Area | Description |
Test Tool | Resolved a bug when matching two fields on the same record with Lookup Owner, where the test tool would indicate no team member could be assigned. This bug did not cause any issues with assignment, and Distribution Engine would assign the issue as intended. |
Stamp SLA | Fixed an issue where the user picker for stamp based SLAs reassignment would not always display. |
Active Caps or Load Balancing by Value | Improved backend efficiency when using Active Caps or Load Balancing by value. |
Sidepanels | Fixed an issue where sidepanel headings were styled incorrectly. |
Team member Hours | Fixed a server error when switching team members from either team or shift to individual hours |
