Charlie Jenkins Updated by Charlie Jenkins

The Carrot release of Booking Engine features the new Record Mapping feature for Book With Me, allowing for bookings to be synchronised with Salesforce data. Additionally it also refreshes the calendar interface for users outside Salesforce using Book With Me or the reschedule feature.

Main Features

The table below outlines the key features included in the Carrot release.

Description

Record Mapping for Book With Me

New Book With Me functionality introduces deeper Salesforce integration. You can now configure mapping rules that enable the Booking Engine to identify whether a booking relates to an existing Salesforce record. If a match is found, an event is created and linked to that record; if not, a new Salesforce record is created automatically.

External Calendar UI Refresh

The External Calendar has been updated with refreshed styling and usability improvements, providing cleaner navigation and more intuitive booking flows for guests booking outside Salesforce, including improved behaviour across devices.

Fixes and Minor Improvements

In addition to the headline features, Carrot includes a collection of bug fixes and smaller updates across the Booking Engine. These changes focus on improving system stability, addressing edge cases, and refining existing behaviour based on feedback from previous releases.
